Susan Meyer Children's Author Talk In-Person
Susan Lynn Meyer will read from and discuss her most recent novel for children, A SKY FULL OF SONG (Union Square Kids, April 2023), about eleven-year-old Shoshana and her family who escape persecution as Jews in the Russian Empire and start a new life homesteading on the North Dakota prairie. The book has been described as a "heartwarming, beautifully written novel about an untold American frontier story . . . destined to be a cherished classic." Meyer will discuss the challenges and pleasures of writing historical fiction for children. Books will be available for purchase and signing from The Nook. Best for ages 9 and up, but all ages are welcome. Registration is required for this event.
