Poetry Workshop with Shir Kehila

Poetry Workshop with Shir Kehila In-Person

Utilizing generative constraints, this workshop will help unlock creative freedom by limiting the often paralyzing, endless possibilities of the blank page. We'll write together using various prompts, and experiment with techniques such as blackout poetry. All are welcome, and no poetry writing experience is necessary. Please register to secure a spot.

Shir Kehila holds an MFA in creative writing & translation from Columbia, and works as a freelance translator and editor. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in several journals, and has been supported by the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference and the Tin House Summer Workshop.
