Author Talk: Legacy of Lies: El Salvador 1981-1984 In-Person / Online

Photojournalist and TIME magazine photographer Robert Nickelsberg offers thoughtful insights on his previously unpublished images illuminating an important chapter in Latin American history. Featuring essays from renowned journalists alongside Nickelsberg’s photography, Legacy of Lies: El Salvador 1981-1984 is a window into El Salvador following the left-wing 1979 Sandinista Revolution, after which the United States sought to prop up El Salvador’s right-wing military government, helping fuel a lethal 13-year civil war.

Robert Nickelsberg worked as a Time magazine contract photographer for nearly thirty years, specializing in political and cultural change in developing countries. Books will be available for sale and signing.
