Sports Gear Swap & Repair Cafe In-Person
GEAR SWAP:
Unused sports gear cluttering up your home? Give it a second life and bring it to the library to share with others. The Sports Gear Swap is a drop-in event providing gear for free to everybody; if you want it, it’s yours! There is no requirement to bring a donation if you want to take something home. The library will accept advance donations of sports gear in good condition during open hours from May 16th until 10:00 am on June 13th. Accepted items include (but are not limited to) bicycles, skis, climbing equipment, bats, balls, rackets, sticks, and backpacking gear. Please no helmets or safety pads.
APPLIANCE REPAIR CAFE:
This year, we’re excited to be working with A Climate to Thrive to offer a Repair Cafe during the Swap. Repairs will begin at 10:00 am. Their experienced volunteers will provide assistance mending your much-loved appliances and small electronics. If you have questions about the Repair Cafe, contact Alison at admin@aclimatetothrive.org.
